Hello everyone! I am so excited about this week's card; I couldn't wait to share it with you. Our challenge this week at Claudia and Company is about a boy! I have four boys so this was easy peasy for me.
This week, we used Echo Park Paper's Little Boy collection as inspiration. These papers are so amazing that I wanted to find a way to incorporate more than one or two papers onto the card. I found this design while browsing the web, and couldn't wait to try it. I used my Spellbinder nesties to cut out the circles, and adhered them with my AC This to That Dot Glue runner; all except for one. I wanted one to pop out to add a little dimension, so I added 3-D dots to the paper with the stars.
For my sentiment, I used one of the sentiments included in our Sammy Puddle Jumper Rubber Stamp; I think this is perfect for any daddy, don't you think?
And take a look at who is inside! Sammy Puddle Jumper. Lori designed this one after my youngest, Sammy! I just love it!
I really liked how it looked simply stamped so I decided not to color it.
I think I have the first of four Father's Day cards made! And... since my sweet friend Lori designed a Puddle Jumper after each one of my boys, I will be able to stamp their own on the inside of each card; then have the boys each decorate the inside however they like, and color their own Puddle Jumper if they want to.
Wait until you see what the rest of the team created! Wonderful talent! Can't wait to see yours.
Hugs,
