Thank You To Our Teachers Blog Hop - Day 1

Hello everyone. I have a special treat for you today, well actually, all week. Today is day one of the "Thank You to Our Teachers Blog Hop". My good friend Kimmarie invited me to join the hop and I couldn't be more delighted. The theme is just perfect because I knew I'd be making some end of the year gifts for my kindergartener's teacher.
The hop consists of three separate posts: June 5th, June 8th, and June 11th; we will all be showcasing a different project on each of these days. Some blogs will be offering candy, so keep an eye out for that.
Today, I am showcasing the card I made for Mrs. D, well Mrs. D'Angelo, but the kiddies call her Mrs. D. The last day of school is June 8th, so she hasn't received the gifts yet; and just in case she visits my blog before then, I am starting with the card. I can't wait to show you (and Mrs. D) what I made!

I had lots of fun piecing this card together; October Afternoon's Schoolhouse collection is just perfect for this occasion, don't you think? Noah (my little kindergartner) picked out the color of the twine.

Card Supplies:
October Afternoon Schoolhouse Paper Pad
October Afternoon Schoolhouse 12x12: Flash Cards & No. 2 Pencil
Sentiment: by Claudia and Company (soon to be released).

So are you ready to hop?
If you just arrived here, please go to the beginning of the hop using the list below.

Remember to leave a comment at every stop on all three post dates (June 5th, 8th, and 11th) by June 12th to be entered to win a $10.00 GC to Claudia and Company. Oh yes, we have a little giveaway of our own.
We will announce the winner on June 13th.

See you back here on June 8th for day two.
Have a happy {hoppin'} day!

Hugs,

I think this is my favorite of the hop so far.
You've incorporated so much of the Teaching theme, yet did it in a subtle, beautiful way! I'm having a hard time explaining it, but I'm really loving this card...a LOT!

  26. ADORABLE card! What a great way to incorporate the school theme with an age appropriate theme for the teachers. It is so hard to do that with the earlier grades! Thanks for the idea!
