A Little Card Making Time with Dear Lizzy's Enchanted

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday. I am so excited to share this card with you today. Why? Well because it means I got a little craft time on a super busy day.

My boys had a snow day yesterday... again. Heehee. We received an email from the school secretary letting us know that today is the Principal's birthday; and wouldn't it be wonderful if she received some cards on her birthday. I jumped at the chance; yes, I know, I probably should have had the boys make a card, but they were busy playing, and any excuse is a good excuse for craft time, right?

I knew the card had to be simple because I had very little time between packaging orders and getting dinner started. My new Fiskars butterfly punch could not have come on a better day. Yippee!

Here is my card:

I used some leftover scraps from one of my favorite American Crafts 6x6 sampler packs: Dear Lizzy Enchanted to punch out the butterflies. I added buttons; Basic Grey's Kioshi buttons coordinate wonderfully with the papers. Then I just attached them with 3-D pop dots. The sentiment is from one of our house line stamp sets: So Random. Rounded the corners, and WaLa! Is that how you spell that word? Is it a word?

That's all for now. I'll be back tomorrow with some fun eye candy showcasing this month's digi stamp releases. AND...
Friday is the big day! Our first ever customer blog hop. We are so excited!

There is still time to sign up; today is the last day though. Just click HERE for details.

Have a wonderful {crafty} day!
Hugs,
